Attempt to do too many

Hello people!!

I mean, hello woman and cheechiaw!!! hehehehe

Life has been hell for me for the past few weeks. Everything seems to be torturing me. I couldnt get enough sleep. Didnt have enough concentration for work. My deteriorating relationship didnt help. And my previous lack of concentration at work came back to bite me T_T

I was practically working from 8am-6pm for the past weeks. Somehow I can never leave the office before 6pm. If given the option, I might have stayed till 7pm. You might think 6pm only leh!! But for me, and for ozzies, 6pm is quite late. The train is less frequent after 6pm. Does it indicate what time ozzies finish work? hahaha. We dont have paid lunch hours, so I usually eat and work. I felt like I was chasing a train and I can never catch up. Some of the jobs take longer than forever to "close" because of issues between the 2 joint-venture companies, some is because the client keeps changing their mind on what they wanna do.. yea, you get the drift. You probably see them on a daily basis but I'm quite used to doing something and achieving it - ie. issuing it, within a short period of time. And its not big projects I'm talking about, but smaller ones which I didnt expect to drag that long...

I need to take it slow or I'll burn out before I reach senior engineer status. LoL.

And the additional stress of coming home to cook!!!

We've been trying to cook for ourselves for the past weeks. Did I tell you my aunty went on strike? LoL. The chef went on strike because her daughter/son-in-law/granddaughter were away on a skiing holiday and hence. So its been work from 8-6pm, then coming home to prepare/cook dinner. By the time you finish cleaning up everything, all you wanna do is drop dead. And then you realise that you're so stinky because you havent showered... hahahaha.

I always look forward to the weekends on Monday :P Every day is like a countdown to the weekend so that I can get a bit more rest. But when the weekend comes, there's tonnes to do because you need to go the groceries, need to prepare whatever you wanna cook for the day, need to occasionally bring you other uncle out for yumcha, need to rest (kakaka), need to go help aunty at the other house, and then you feel obliged to bring your sisters out shopping because they've been stuck at home for the whole week... And before you know it, its sunday night T_T boo hoo hoo

Anyway, we might cook on most nights even after my cousin comes back. I'm personally quite tired and frustrated with people who think they're in a position to pass remarks back to my mum. These people have never seen, but only heard through another person, and miraculously believes they are in a position to "offer a CORRECT solution". I have absolutely no respect for these kind of people, regardless that they are a relative. And when I dont respect/like you, its not very hard to tell. You might think I'm not handling relationships properly but to me, nobody is indispensable and if I dont like you, I simply dont like you. No second thoughts.

Its not easy living out on your own. There is nobody to prepare breakfast/lunch/dinner for you. There is nobody to do your laundry. Nobody/No cooperation to clean the whole damn house even though there are 5 FEMALE OCCUPANTS!!!! (so pissed). It doesnt help when one of them is seriously senseless and dirty. Every single thing is DIY. You still gotta work hard for that money and every night you gotta think what you wanna eat tomorrow. I seriously respect, admire and appreciate those who work and cook for their family every night. The need to think of what to cook is much harder than working overtime. LoL.

Woman, I promise when I'm back in KL, I'll prepare you something nice to eat - main meal and dessert ;) ok? Hehehe.

You like prawn pasta tossed with olive oil?? My sister thought there wasnt enough wine.. haha.

Spongebob says hi :P can you see that he's trying to hug you?? Hahahaha.

*hugs*

Attempting to feed myself

At one time I had cravings for bruschetta. I woke up at 8.30 to prepare all these..

Yaiks! Forgot about the bread

What do you think? I have potential? LoL.

Chicken Pasta Bake.

The next day I made this..

Fresh chicken, leek and bacon gourmet pie from the oven

What do you think? Honestly?

I think it looked quite good..

Yummy fattening goodness. LoL

The chicken pie was a bit too salty. Its probably the aussie bacon.. but it was quite a successful attempt.

I think I will survive if I lived alone. LoL
