Babies are cute..

- when they are not yours
- when you are not the one looking after them

Went to garden city late morning today and omg, I didnt realise there were so many kids and babies and mummies in the suburb!!!!!

Prams and more prams everywhere. All you see are mums and prams. And occasionally dads and mums, and a few kiddos. LoL.

1st sight - saw a crying little girl lying on the ground of the parking floor O_o" while the mummy loaded the shopping bags into the car. Its raining and the floor is wet and god knows how dirty.. Next second, the mum held both the hands, lifted her, and "threw" her into the backseat. I was like... O_O whoa!!

2nd sight - mummies and babies all waiting around the Gloria Jeans booth for their coffees. Mummies need their caffeine boost. Hehe.

3rd sight - this little girl was wearing a cute "Dora the Explorer" raincoat while her mummy pushed a pram with another baby inside. As I walked towards her, I just smiled at her and she looked at me and smiled back. Haha. Super cute wei... :P

4th sight - was in the ice cream aisle of the supermarket when I almost bumped into this little boy. He just walked across to the freezer doors and pointed at the marshmallows. LoL. White and pink, hanging off the freezer door handles. Then he used his little finger and touched it, saying something I cant make out, then put the finger into his mouth "yum yum". Hahaha.

5th sight - grandpa was bringing little girl for a walk. He just watched as she seems to be taking her first few steps, looking a bit unstable. LoL. She was such a cute little girl. So chubby. Face was real plump with red little cheeks. And she didnt look 100% angmoh. After I walked pass them, I saw this sales girl peep out of one of the stores, stared and smiled, then cheekily walked back in. And I knew she was looking at that little girl. As I walked pass that store, another lady came out and did the same thing. And then all 3 girls in the store started sharing giggles.

I bet apart from cute little kids, only Prince William or the likes can make these girls do that. LoL

Can you keep up?

I was clearing bit of stuff and I found a bunch of these...

Oh dear. What are these called already? Haha. Floppy disks? Diskettes?

I still remember handing in my 1st assignment in uni with a report and a floppy disk - Financial Accounting 101. We were learning how to use MYOB. Those were the days..

I wanted to throw them away. Then I thought maybe I should check if there's anything inside.. not that it would be security matter since it can only store 1.44mb!!!! The horror!!!

Brings stack to my notebook. Eh.. dont have floppy reader. Move to my sister's desktop, trying to look for that familiar slot.. EH!! dont have also!! Hahaha.

OK. Nevermind. Not checking. Threw the whole stack into the bin. LoL.

Makes me feel so old. It was only more than 5 years ago that I handed in that assignment. And almost every pc in the computer labs were equipped with a floppy drive. It was the 2nd most convenient (and #1 most unreliable) storage medium. Now? Pc's dont even have a reader for it. Hahaha.

can you guess which was my favourite? :P

And here is my faithful mobile phone. Been using it for years!!!! Dont recognise it hor? It's from the stone age.. it's all bruised and dusty behind the screen because I keep dropping it and it cracks open - leaving for me to put it back together again. Unable to get rid of the dusts.. hahaha.

Its a phone where 3G didnt mean anything and there was no such thing as XX megapixel cameras or Carl Zeiss optics or even Cybershots!!! -__-" It has one of the 1st generations of cameras embedded in mobiles..

Dont play play ok!! This phone has gone through thick and thin with me. It has even fallen down the stairs for me. Fallen down the car to the road. Jumped from my pocket to the ground. And many other similar experiences. The only thing it hasnt done, lucky me, is fall down the toilet bowl >_<"

Been saying that I want to change phone for years! And still havent done it. Haha. Sad case. But to me, a phone is just a phone. It allows me to send sms, call people, keep phone numbers.. But most of all it wakes me up in the morning. LoL.

Only shortcoming is that its not 3G. Now that we're moving towards NextG/4G (or is it G4), I havent even made a video call before.. *eeeks*

Now I see phones like N95 populating the market. Young people buying them. Honestly.. how much of the features do you use? I actually dont see the point of buying such an expensive phone when I'm probably going to use only 20% of the features. And there's a huge range of phones to choose from. We're definitely getting spoilt by choices. Anyway, I'm nobody to comment. I dont even have a 3G phone!!! Hahaha.

Okok. Going to get one soon. Until today, I still cant decide if I'm going to stick to faithful ol' Nokias or the trendy SE's.. LoL. I will decide ok!! trust me! :P
