How to Kill Your Husband

I was reading this lovely book and only finished it about a week ago. I have to say, it's a good read. LoL. Funny. Realistic. And I'd recommend it to anyone who hasnt already read it.

Although mostly funny, it has sad bits. Bits where marital problems appear right at your face that you cant ignore it. Bits where the man only married the woman for her money.

But I have to say, there are a few handy hints from this book. LoL.

1. Men cheat. They all do. If they havent already cheated on you, they could be cheating on you now. And if not, they will most likely cheat on you later on. No matter what type of male he is, to cheat is somehow hardwired into his brain. Just like sex. LoL.

2. Men give all sorts of excuses when you found out they've been cheating. But most importantly, you are the reason why he cheated. And so, the female is to blame. And it's always him wanting to end the affair but the other female refuses.. How classic.

3. The more you want them, the more they dont feel the need for you. Their want for you seem to gradually die off as you two step into marriage and as the kids start coming..

4. If they dont want kids, it's most likely because they dont want kids with YOU. And not because they dont want children of their own.

5. There are only 2 happy days in a marriage - "the day you marry him, and the day you bury him". Hahaha.

6. Do not underestimate the willpower and intelligence of a woman in "killing" her husband. She might not physically plunge a knife into your heart, but she is smart enough to increase the risk of you dying soon. Hahahaha.

Seriously. I find this book quite amusing to read. But after reading this book, if you're in cloud9, you'll be back to earth on the ground. LoL. There is no such thing as a truly happy marriage. And no matter how loyal a man may seem to be, if the opportunity is there, most men will cheat.

I have this feeling that maybe I dont want to get married. Haha. After reading the horrors of a marriage and men, I dont think I want to be part of the female population plotting to kill their philandering husbands :P
