tuk tuk chiang!

Ever heard those old chinese opera/orchestra thing? Hahaha. Damn funny. My grandmother is watching it on tape now, I just turned it on for her.

You know these tuk-tuk-chiang shows can really throw you into a fit of laughters. Hahaha. It definitely did to me :P Before they can start singing I am already laughing...

This one is not those where they dress up in the most detailed fashion and start fighting with their sticks and spears and swords, chasing everyone else in circles with their white painted faces. All of them looks the same. I always have a hard time telling between the males and the females. To me, they all look WHITE. Haha. And I cant even tell which is the bad guy - ie. who is killing who. Oh, not to mention sometimes they have 'tigers' and 'monkeys' and other animals that join their 'fight'. Hehehehe. Hillarious.

The one my grandmother is watching now dont have fighting. They still have the whitely painted faces though, only not as white. Haha. I dont know what this is. I know they come in many languages. Cantonese, Hokkien, maybe even Teochew O_O" I think this is in Cantonese. When they start singing, they all sound the same to me. Hahaha. Oh, yes, anyway, the story started with 2 characters. Which i think one is a male and one is a female, considering one dresses in blue and the other in pink. Unless of course the male dresses in pink in those era too. And no, I couldnt tell their gender from their faces. I told you they all look white! They all look like patung!!!

I'm thinking this is a romantic story! ^_^ Before they started singing, they were packing away some old books into a box. Wah.. damn slow motion like that. The 'pink' passes those blue looking binded things to the 'blue' in a flow-like manner and after a few rounds, she was reluctant to let go of the book. After she finally let it go, she turned her face away from the guy, and starts wiping her eyes with her long sleeve...

"Awww my lady. Please dont be upset. Please do not cry for me my beauty. I will not go for long." *stretches his hand to comfort her, barely touching her shoulders*

I'm thinking he must be singing that to her. Hahaha. Damn funny. Where got ppl pass books to the other like dancing like that ah? The head bopping side to side, the movements damn slow motion. Then they start singing and singing and singing.

My grandmother says she loves these movies. Its like a singing, but also like story-telling. Hehehehe. I'm evil. I just find them super funny. Oh, and then after that they show few more other ladies walking/dancing along the streets. Forgive me, I really dont understand what they are singing. And I dont sit down long enough to know what the story is about.

Hehehehehhehee. I find it damn funny that the males sing in these high pitch voices. It goes something like.. "eeeeee... eeeeeee... eeee... eeee..... aaaaahhh...... aaahhhhhh.... ooooohhh..." Wahahahahaha. Sorry lah cant really show you when he went up a few notches and when he came down through typing. Hahaha. Damn funny.

This music is damn entertaining when I'm trying so damn hard to understand wth I'm reading. Haha. Sadly, I realised that my dad actually loves these kind of music too, and he specifically like the ones in Cantonese. Aahem, my dad is english educated. He cant even speak proper Cantonese (not that I can, but heck). Hahaha. Funny. I know what to get him on his birthday next year already. Hahahaha...

kk, back to my derivatives revision. So damn hard!!! Dont even know wth they are going on about. Martingale lah, brownian motion lah, Ito's Lemma lah... argh. Engineering seems easier to study for... wish me all the best!!! My final 2 papers on 15th and 16th and then woohoo! Someone is coming to Perth! Wahahahahhaa *grins*
