Pump pump pump

I dont know when my car tyre was low on pressure, but my uncle saw it the other night when I went over to his house to pass him some souvenirs from Melbourne. Me being the unobservant/ignorant/spoilt child I am, I didnt even notice the tyre pressure. Oh well, got to bring my car to the petrol station! Then I realised something...

I dont really know how to pump air into the tyres!!! O_o

I know all of you are blinking with disbelief, your jaws probably touching the table already. Hahaha. I'm sorry, I cant help laughing at myself too. So useless hor?

Well, it's not that I really dont know! But I havent actually done it before! I've always seen my dad do it, while I'm sitting in the car :P or I've seen people do it, from a distance! I've never actually had to do it myself! Ok ok, I need to find some place to hide myself now, but before that...

I asked my sister the other night to ask my dad what is the pressure I need to pump and specific instructions on how to do it. My sister burst out laughing. She probably fell off the chair, I'm pretty sure of it. "You dont know how to pump tyre?!?! HAHAHAHA" ok, point noted. Then she started teasing me and laughing at me. She laughed so loud I wonder if she really knows how to do it herself!!! Hmmm... but anyway, she waited for my dad to get off his mobile phone before detailing the instructions from him to me.

"you adjust the pressure from 0 to 28 lbs, then place it over the tube. Let the needle go 'tink tink' until you hear it go very fast. Then ok already."

Place the hose where? the tube? Do I have to unscrew them? Fully or partially?

"Hahaha. Oy!!! Of course have to unscrew lah! Dont unscrew how to pump?!! Hahaha... make sure you dont unscrew the tyres ah!"

-_-" I dunno mah... Hahaha.

Yes, everyone had a great big laugh. Even my dad's friend who was over at my house was laughing... "hahaha, ask her no need to pump air lah. Change new car!" Hahaha... I had to laugh at that myself! :P

Anyway, was meant to do it this morning, but my uncle probably knows me better than I do, said that he better go with me. Hahaha. So after lunch came my step-by-step lesson on how to pump air into the tyres. Whoa!!! I felt so enlightened this afternoon! It's like I just learnt something very wonderful! Australia is much more advanced though, they dont use the 'tink tink' pressure gauge! They use an electronic/digital gauge! Hahaha, sorry folks! No 'tink tink tink' :P And I was told to pump 32 psi ok!!! On it says standard passenger car to pump 30-38 psi. Wow... hehehe.

Dont bully me now people! I know how to pump tyres ok! I'm not dumb anymore!!! Hmm.. still havent change tyres with my own hands yet tho... (touch wood!!!) ^_^

Hahaha... okok, now let me find some place to hide myself...

hey, dun look down at Malaysia lar, most of the petrol station here oso using digital wan n not "tink tink tink" wan anymore. And about the psi thing, every car is a bit different, but it is clearly stated on every tire, look at the side of the tire and u will found it.
